Fire Bird
Fire is an eternal symbol of rebirth, purification and light. It’s the only thing in the world that always rises to the heavens and never falls back down. Firebird is all things powerful – it’s raging fire, it’s hope, it’s resurrection from the ashes. It’s the duality of changes, the dichotomy of transformations and the price we pay for the privilege of having them. This image became the symbol of the 6th exhibition “Tryn*Trava. Modern Russian style". In East Slavic fairy tales, this magical fire bird lives in the Far Away Kingdom, illuminates the world with its feathers and always helps heroes. Its golden color and its love for gold clearly indicate its belonging to the magical Far Away kingdom. Every hero needs the Firebird to make the most wonderful miracles happen.
